Residenza
d'Epoca San Cassiano S. Croce 2232, Venice, Venezia XIV century palace located
on the Grand Canal near the Rialto Bridge. Breakfast room on the Grand Canal,
private terrace with access for water-taxi, courtyard. The San Cassiano
is the first hotel in Venice which has been named Residenza d'Epoca from a special
government commission of Fine Arts; this important grading was achieved thanks
to its historical and artistic values; in particular it was the house-studio of
Giacomo Favretto, the last XIX century venetian painter. Its wonderful
position on the Grand Canal, in front of the most famous Ca' d'Oro, gives our
guests the opportunity to see the real life of the main 'water-street' of Venice,
even sitting on our private terrace, sipping their favourite drinks.
